Through taking the quiz that was on the blog, I learned that I am a practical learner. This did not surprise me, since I hav always suspected that I would learn best this way.
In the beginning of the semester, I did not study very much at all. I was too busy meeting people. However, as my grades got worse, I learned that I need to study. I really started to crack down. I tried studying in the dorms at first. I always seemed to get very distracted while studying, whether it was other people catching my attention, or the need to check email or Facebook.
I decided to go to the library and try this out. This seemed to work very well for me. I do not have a laptop, only a desktop, so this also pushed away those distractions. The best way for me to study is to get as far away from distractions as possible.
I tend to go the library to write my papers in a notebook, then I will go back to my room adn type it out. The less time I spend near distractions, the better.

I'm also easily distracted, so I understand your problem. It's good that you've figured out how to work around it.
